Terms of Use
Effective 30 September 2026
In short
- These terms cover your use of marrow.id, and the accounts and access to the API and MCP that we give by invitation.
- If your organisation has signed an agreement with us for Core or Company Brain, that agreement governs its service and takes precedence where the two conflict.
- Marrow is for businesses. You use it for work.
- Your organisation's content stays its own. We use it only to provide the service, and we do not train AI models on it.
Who we are
Marrow is provided by Marrow Technologies Ltd, a private limited company registered at Companies House in England and Wales under company number 17288650, whose registered office is at 19c Highgate West Hill, London, United Kingdom, N6 6NP. We are not registered for VAT. You can reach us at hello@marrow.id.
Using this site
You may read marrow.id and share its pages. Please do not disrupt it, test or work around its security, or use automated tools to copy substantial parts of it. The site links to other companies' sites and tools; their own terms apply there, and we are not responsible for them.
The site shows how Core and Company Brain work, often with invented examples. What your organisation receives, and on what terms, is set out in its agreement with us.
Invited access
We may give you an account for your work, or give your organisation access to the API or MCP, before or alongside a signed agreement.
- These terms set out how you, as an individual user, may use Marrow. They bind your organisation only where someone with authority accepts them for it, or where it has signed an agreement with us.
- Your account is for work, and your organisation's administrator can give and remove access.
- Keep your password and API keys secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used them.
- These terms do not give a licence to install or run Core yourself. Running Core in your own cloud or on your own servers needs a signed agreement.
- If your organisation connects personal data under invited access, our standard data processing terms at marrow.id/legal/dpa apply to it and form part of these terms, until a signed agreement replaces them.
- Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the access these terms describe.
What you may not do
Do not use Marrow to:
- break the law, or help anyone else to;
- connect a source, or give an agent access to one, that you have no right to use;
- let an agent act beyond the permissions and approvals your organisation has set;
- infringe anyone's rights, or send unlawful, deceptive or harmful material;
- gain access without permission to accounts, systems or data, or test our security without our written agreement;
- overload the service, or copy, resell, reverse engineer or decompile it, except where the law allows;
- impersonate anyone, or use what Marrow produces to deceive people.
We look for misuse through automated signals, such as unusual activity on the API, and look at content only in the circumstances our Privacy Notice describes. We may limit or suspend access to stop misuse.
Your content
Content your organisation connects or puts into Marrow, and what Marrow builds from it, stays your organisation's. You confirm that you may use it this way.
You allow us to store, copy and process that content only as needed to provide the service to your organisation, keep it secure, and comply with the law. We do not train AI models on it, and we require the AI model providers we use not to train on it. It is not used to improve another customer's service.
Your organisation can export its content at any time through the API, or by asking us by email, in a machine-readable format, with the source of every fact. When it deletes a source, the facts drawn from it are deleted too.
Answers and actions from AI
Core and Company Brain use AI models, and what they produce can be incomplete or wrong. Every fact links to the passage it came from, so check what matters before you rely on it, particularly for legal, financial, medical, employment or safety decisions.
Agents act within the permissions and approvals your organisation sets. Where Company Brain asks for approval before it sends a message or changes a record, your organisation is responsible for the actions it approves.
Our software and name
Core, Company Brain, marrow.id and the Marrow name and marks belong to Marrow Technologies Ltd. While you have access, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for your organisation's work under these terms.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you or naming you.
Availability
Unless your organisation's agreement with us says otherwise, we do not guarantee uptime or response times. We may change, add or withdraw features, and we tell you in advance where a change would matter to you.
Ending access
You can stop using Marrow at any time. Your organisation's administrator can remove your account, or you can ask us to. Closing your own account does not delete your organisation's content.
We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously broken, if there is a risk to the service, to other customers or to anyone else, or if the law requires it. We tell you why, unless the law does not allow us to.
When your organisation's access ends, it has 30 days to export its content. We then delete it from our live systems within 14 days, and it leaves our backups as they are overwritten within 30 days, unless its agreement says otherwise or the law requires us to keep it.
Liability
We provide access under these terms with reasonable care and skill.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill. We are not liable for loss of content to the extent your organisation could reasonably have avoided it by keeping its own copies or using its right to export. For access that is not paid for, our total liability under these terms is limited to £1,000. Paid services are governed by a signed agreement, which sets its own limits.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide any dispute about them.
Changes to these terms
Each version is dated, and earlier versions are kept at marrow.id/legal. If we make a material change, we tell your organisation's administrator by email 30 days before it takes effect. A change the law or security requires urgently may take effect sooner, and we say so as soon as we can. A change never applies to anything that happened before it.
